Alkyd primer paint for metal Mital
Thixotropic fast-drying one-component alkyd primer. It has excellent anti-corrosion properties and high adhesion to the base, creates an elastic and resistant to mechanical and atmospheric influences coating. Alkyd, acrylic or polyurethane paints are used as a finishing layer. It can also be used as an independent coating. Does not contain lead, chromium, mercury and other carcinogenic substances that pollute the environment.
Scope:
The product is intended for use as an anti-corrosion coating in the treatment of metal surfaces. It can also be used for painting doors, wooden frames, window sills, radiators, pipes, etc., wooden and metal products. It is used for external and internal work.
Surface preparation:
Remove impurities (rust, fat, and salts) that make dyeing difficult. The surface must be dry and clean. Old painted surfaces must be polished.
Applying:
Before applying the paint, you need to mix thoroughly. When using a brush or roller, the interval between layers should be at least 1 hour. In pneumatic spraying, the paint must be diluted 30-40% with a Mixon Eco Thinner or R647 solvent. The required spray viscosity is 22-25 juices. DIN 4 at 20°S. It is applied in 2-3 layers with a paint gun with a nozzle diameter of 1.4-1.5 mm under a pressure of 3-4 bar with an interval between layers of 10-15 minutes.
