Anti-corrosion acrylic zinc primer Primer Zinc Mix 988
Anti-corrosion thin-film zinc coating containing 67% highly purified zinc (90% zinc in dry film) effectively protecting ferrous metals from corrosion. The product has high protective properties and high adhesion to metal surfaces. Resistant to vibration, shock loads and abrasion. It is possible to apply to rust. Withstands temperature loads from 60oC to +150oC.
Scope:
The soil is intended for anti-corrosion protection of external and internal surfaces of any metal structures and metal products, including industrial equipment. Provides active (cathodic) and passive (barrier) corrosion protection.
Surface preparation:
Remove greasy, oily and other impurities, loose rust and old paint mechanically. Dust off and degrease the surface.
Applying:
Before application, the primer must be thoroughly mixed until a homogeneous mass is formed. It is applied in 1 layer using a brush, roller, paint sprayer or immersion. With pneumatic spraying, the soil must be diluted by 50-70% with a Mixon 647 solvent. The Mixon Acryl Thinner 740 diluent can be used to increase the drying time. Recommended nozzle diameter – 1.5-1.8 mm. Pressure – 2-3 bar. Application can be performed at a temperature from 5OC to +35OC. Drying «on a sticky » for 10-30 minutes depending on the temperature and humidity of the surrounding air. Complete drying – 24 hours.
