Thixotropic fast-drying one-component alkyd primer. It has excellent anti-corrosion properties and high adhesion to the base, creates an elastic and resistant to mechanical and atmospheric influences coating. Alkyd, acrylic or polyurethane paints are used as a finishing layer. It can also be used as an independent coating. Does not contain lead, chromium, mercury and other carcinogenic substances that pollute the environment.

Scope:

It is used as a preliminary anti-corrosion primer for metal and steel products (stairs, metal fences, pipes, sheet material, etc.). Can be used for both new and previously painted steel surfaces during exterior and interior work.

Surface preparation:

Remove dirt that makes painting difficult. The surface must be dry and clean. Remove existing rust or old paint on the surface with a scraper or steel brush until a strong and clean base is obtained.

Applying:

The primer must be thoroughly mixed before application. When using a brush or roller, the interval between layers should be at least 1 hour. With pneumatic spraying, the primer must be diluted by 30-40% with a Mixon Eco Thinner or R647 solvent. The required spray viscosity is 22-25 juices. DIN 4 at 20°S. It is applied in 2-3 layers with a paint gun with a nozzle diameter of 1.6-1.8 mm under a pressure of 3-4 bar with an interval between layers of 10-15 minutes.
