Bituminous waterproofing coating Mixon Gidro

Solvent-free bituminous waterproofing coating, elastic, modified with synthetic material. The thixotropic material has excellent adhesion to dry and slightly wet bases. The result is a waterproof, waterproofing layer covering 5 mm cracks. Thanks to the polystyrene added to the material, the thermal insulation properties of the treated surface are improved. The material is resistant to aging, exposure to water and various components present in the natural soil. When used on dry and wet surfaces, it does not require an additional layer of plaster on brickwork.

Scope:

Designed for waterproofing balconies, terraces, underground garages, etc. Can be used inside and outside the room.

Surface preparation:

The surface should be dry or slightly wet, unfrozen, without fat and oil content, without sharp particles protruding from it. Remove protruding remains of the solution, round the edges and corners. Substrate mineral surfaces thoroughly. It is not necessary to apply a primer on polystyrene bases. The surface of profiling and unevenness with a depth of up to 5 mm is closed locally with waterproofing putty. Open depressions of more than 5 mm must be pre-spatted with a repair solution. Before applying a thick-layer coating, the previous bituminous putty or repair solutions must dry completely.

Applying:

Apply waterproofing mastic with two technological operations. Waterproofing should be performed without passes, with a uniform thickness. When performing waterproofing on sections of the walls, it is necessary to remove the layer to the end horizontal surface of the foundation slab or foundation for at least 10 cm. External waterproofing should be removed in all areas to the existing horizontal insulation, thereby forming a closed space. When installing horizontal waterproofing and before the protective screed device, it is necessary to apply two sliding layers of polyethylene film to the waterproofing layer. Do not perform processing at temperatures below +5°C.
