Novotex Ultra – decorative wood protection product. Contains fungicidal additives that prevent fungal diseases and the appearance of pests in wood. The product includes a special UV filter that increases the resistance of the painted surface to solar radiation. The composition of the resins used provides excellent weathering resistance. The product has good adhesion to the surface, emphasizes the texture of the wood and forms a transparent moisture-resistant varnish film on the surface.

Scope:

It is especially recommended for finishing the planed wooden surface of facades, fence elements, windows, doors, etc., in both interior and exterior work. Suitable also for painting sawn wood surface.

Surface preparation:

The treated surface must be clean, not contain fungal damage, rot, mold and blueness. Remove the old wood-protective coating or paint on the surface. The moisture content of wood should exceed 20 %. To ensure the maximum tree protection effect, it is necessary to impregnate with Novotex Base primer.

Applying:

Mix thoroughly before application. The wood protector is ready for use and does not require breeding. It is recommended to use a brush as a working tool. The air temperature when applying the product should be from +5°С to +25°С. The recommended temperature is 18±2°С. The relative humidity of the air shall be less than 80 %. Avoid painting in windy weather, as well as under the influence of direct sunlight, which will contribute to faster evaporation of the solvent, which will lead to worse absorption of the product into the wood. Make sure the surface is dry before painting. Painting is carried out in 1-2 layers with an interval between layers of 12-24 hours. The article is applied to the surface in a continuous layer along the wood fibers. To ensure a uniform color, you can walk over the entire treated surface with a dry brush 10-20 minutes after applying to the surface. Each subsequent layer makes the color darker, the surface more glossy and resistant to UV radiation.
