Alkyd varnish for yachts. Contains a UV filter, which helps reduce the adverse effect of sunlight on wood. When applied, it forms a film resistant to atmospheric and mechanical influences. The coating is resistant to changes in humidity and temperature.

Scope:

Suitable for most yacht and boat surfaces (decks, masts, etc.) made of wood. It can also be used for wooden surfaces of interior items (windows, doors, furniture, etc.) and garden buildings (gazebos, benches, etc.). It is used for internal and external works.

Surface preparation:

The lacquered surface must be cleaned of grease, dirt and wax. At all stages of processing, the wood must be dry, with a moisture content below 20%. Remove the peeling varnish from the previously varnished wooden surface, sand the surface until smooth. The surface, previously covered with glossy varnish, should be polished to a matte to improve adhesion.

Priming:

The new wood surface must be impregnated with Mixon Novotex Base wood and then primed with a mixture of Mixon Yacht Varnish and Solve W varnish in a ratio of 10:1.

Applying:

Mix thoroughly before application. Varnishing should be done in two layers with undiluted varnish. The required air temperature during application should be from +5°С to +30°С. Avoid direct sunlight hits.
