100% natural oil obtained by treating tung tree nut seeds. It has a high impregnating capacity. Allows you to get the decorative effect of «wet wood». Tung oil creates a wear-resistant matte coating that is safe when in contact with food. Wood impregnated with tung oil is exclusively resistant to water, alcohol-containing materials and mold. It has a golden tint. Colored in a wide range of colors. Does not contain chemical additives.

Scope of use:

The oil is intended for processing products and structures made of various types of wood, which are used inside and outside the premises: terraces, decks, bridges, siding, wooden floors and decks, as well as railings, stairs, fences, countertops, dishes, cutting boards, garden and kitchen furniture, etc. It is especially recommended for planed wood. Do not use for painted surfaces.

Surface preparation:

The surface should be dry, thoroughly cleaned of dirt, wax, grease and old paint coatings. It is advisable to sand with paper with grain 100-120. Harder types of wood containing resins and natural oils should be cleaned with a cloth soaked in an organic solvent.

Applying:

Mix thoroughly before use. Apply with a brush or lint-free fabric. When applying the first few layers, it is recommended to dilute the oil with 50% white spirit, for the last layer – do not dilute. Apply oil evenly from edge to edge, along the wood fibers, preventing the formation of unprotected areas and seams. After application, leave the oil to absorb into the pores of the wood for 40-90 minutes. If after that 80% of the surface remains glossy, then this means that the wood is saturated with oil and the excess must be removed with a paper napkin. It is recommended to apply the oil in at least two layers.
