Novotex Base – is a tool designed for priming wooden surfaces. Due to the content of fungicides, it is deeply absorbed into the wood and prevents the penetration of moisture and the influence of rot, mold and bluish fungi. Improves the adhesion of covering materials to wood. The composition of the resins used provides high resistance to weathering.

Scope:

It is especially recommended for finishing the planed wooden surface of facades, fence elements, windows, doors, etc. as in interior and exterior work. Suitable also for painting sawn wood surface.

Surface preparation:

The treated surface must be clean, not contain fungal damage, rot, mold and blueness. Remove the protective coating or paint on the surface of the old tree. The moisture content of wood should exceed 20 %.

Applying:

Mix thoroughly before application. It is recommended to use a brush as a working tool. The air temperature when applying the product should be from +5°С to +30°С. The recommended temperature is 18±2°С. The relative humidity of the air shall be less than 80 %. Avoid painting in windy weather, as well as under the influence of direct sunlight, which will contribute to faster evaporation of the solvent, which will lead to worse absorption of the product into the wood. Painting is carried out in 1-2 layers with an interval between layers of 12-24 hours.
